Neal another Boys’ Model pupil first started his hockey career at Annadale were he won an Ulster U15 Cup Medal.
During his time with the Club, Neal won nine representative caps for the Ulster Junior Interprovincial side that travelled to Waterford in 2003/04, Galway in 2004/05 and Dublin in 2005/06. In Dublin Neal was given the honour of being Ulster captain!
